Wisdom" Announced as New Name
For Raymark Xpert Business Systems
New moniker reflects the personality of a company
looking at retail technology from a new perspective
NEW YORK, January 16, 2001 --
Retail Wisdom is the new name of the former Raymark Xpert Business
Systems, the Montreal-based global integrated retail systems developer,
the company announced at the National Retail Federation conference
in New York City today.
"We wanted a name that better communicated
who we are," said Terri Ghio, President & CEO, "and 'Retail
Wisdom' is what we are all about. Wisdom results from experience,
knowledge and perspective. It implies a true and comprehensive understanding
of something, where it's been and where it 's going."

applying this experience and knowledge of retail technology and

wisdom for our customers."
The new name is part of a concerted
effort on the part of the company to communicate their strategies
and capabilities to current and prospective customers. Customer
Relationship Management is a major focus. According to Ghio, "We
want retailers to know that we are aware of their concerns and challenges,
especially the need to develop strategies that cater to the differences
in people and cultures both around the corner and around the world."
