Our Staff Ronald A. Margulis Managing Director Ron brings more than 15 years of professional and managerial experience to RAM Communications. With more than 800 articles published, Ron is also an accredited journalist. His writings on the food, tobacco, retail, information technology and transportation industries have appeared in dozens of newspapers and magazines. Ron has won several awards for his writing, and is contributing editor of three professional reference books. Ron graduated with honors in international business from George Washington University, and earned a masters degree in economics from New York University. He received a graduate diploma in journalism from University of London, and completed a management internship and meat cutters apprenticeship at Shop-Rite Supermarkets. Seth Mendelson, Senior Advisor Seth has nearly 20 years of professional and managerial experience. Before joining RAM Communications, Seth served as Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Discount Merchandiser/Supermarket Business. He was previously Co-Publisher/Editor of Supermarket Business; Editor-in-Chief of Non-Foods Merchandising; and Senior Editor of Mass Market Retailers. He started his journalism career as a Staff Writer at Gannett Newspapers. Seth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History from Syracuse University. John Karolefski, Senior Advisor John has been an active journalist for more than thirty years. Most recently he was Editor-in-Chief of Brand Marketing, which he created and developed into a monthly magazine on consumer products. He is an authority with credits in newspapers and on radio and TV, and authored a book on technology and marketing. Previously, John was Senior Editor at Supermarket News and Publisher and Editor-in-Chief at RSI Magazine. He is a graduate of Fordham University and spent four years in the U.S. Air Force as editor of the bi-weekly newspaper at Aviano Air Base in Italy. Patricia E. Paul Design & Production Pat brings nearly 20 years of design and production experience to RAM Communications. She has worked with several publishing companies (Seventeen Magazine, Advertising Age, Interview Magazine, Simon & Schuster) and with Mattel, Inc. Pat is an expert in desktop publishing, and earned her B.F.A. degree in Fine Arts from the University of Rhode Island.
